KYB Smart-Shox Rebuild
KYB Smart-Shox Rebuild & Service | Ski-Doo
Bring your Ski-Doo KYB Smart-Shox suspension back to peak performance with a comprehensive rebuild designed to restore consistent damping and ride quality.
Over time, shock oil deteriorates, seals wear, and internal contamination can reduce damping performance and ride quality. Regular maintenance helps restore consistent suspension response, comfort, and control.
At Wilder Performance, we use advanced automated vacuum bleeding equipment to remove trapped air and ensure precise, consistent oil filling.
Our complete rebuild service includes fresh premium shock oil, nitrogen recharge, and a new basic seal kit—all included in the price.
Advanced Automated Vacuum Bleeding
Proper shock bleeding is essential for consistent damping performance. Our automated system uses controlled vacuum and filling cycles to help remove trapped air throughout the shock's hydraulic system.
This process helps deliver:
-
Consistent, predictable damping performance
-
Reduced risk of trapped air and oil aeration
-
Thorough, controlled oil filling
-
Repeatable results from shock to shock
How Often Should Smart-Shox Be Serviced?
We recommend servicing your KYB Smart-Shox suspension annually or every 2,000 miles, whichever comes first.
During our rebuilds, we frequently find shocks with oil leaking past the seals, even when there are no obvious performance complaints. Regular servicing helps address worn seals, deteriorating oil, low nitrogen and internal contamination before they lead to more significant suspension issues.
